My brother, Wil, got a new, old car about a month ago. It's a 1964 Volkswagon that he went all the way to LA to pick up. Because it's so old...eh, I mean a classic, putting in a stereo took my step-dad, who has an engineering degree, Clay, and Wil most of the day last Sunday.

Very cool car, Wil!

The girls had it all figured out. If only, their Uncle Wil had listened....
Hailey's Mother's Day gift to me. Isn't she great!

Our Crazy Sleepover

The only thing that can cheer me up after staying up all night is my husband's sprite-blueberry pancakes-a recipe passed down from our Papa Josh. YUM!
Our girls wait eagerly every Saturday morning for mom and dad to finally get up so that they can have his famous pancakes for breakfast.

What do you get when you get 14 girls together for the evening? Fun, nail polish, giggles, lots of bouncing, and absolutely NO SLEEP!!!

Our girls have so many friends that mean so much to them, so we let them have their closest friends over for a sleepover.

The little gals were out early, around 10:30, but the older ones stayed up until 4:30 in the morning. Something about breaking a sleepover record????

We're so glad they had the opportunity for some quality time together, but it will be a long time before we give up that much sleep again!!!

Clay's Birthday

clay kissed his 20's good-bye this year and said hello to his 30's. he came home from a business trip on his birthday, so the girls surprised him with a birthday sign, a song, and creme brule.

Easter

this easter, the girls were in charge of desserts. madison made chocolate dipped pirouettes, hailey made sherbert pies, and jessica made angel food cake. it was all very yummy.
